There will be a nonrefundable $25 administration fee per refund. If the season is canceled for some uncontrolled reason. We will assess and determine a refund or credit based on the time or time left in the season. 

Your player's division is determined by their age as of May 1, 2024

Sandlot (T-Ball) 4-6yrs. $200

Rookie 7-8yrs. $325

Single A 9-10yrs. $325

Double AA 11-12yrs. $325

Due to players lack of commitment at the older divisions we will accept full teams only

Triple A 13-14yrs. Full Team only

Major 15-16yrs. Full Team only

H.O.F. 17-18yrs Full Team only

Where and what time are practices and games typically held?

Practices are at the coach's discretion as all Midway BSA Affiliated coach's are volunteers. Practices are held based on their availability. Due to no lights and limited field availability coaches may practice outside of Midway fields at surrounding neighborhood parks. Normally coaches practice 1 to 2 times a week.

Games: All games are scheduled before the season starts. The coaches along with the league coordinator will discuss the schedule and TRY to work around coach's conflicting dates or life schedule. All games at the lower divisions were played at Midway fields in 2023. We are looking to do the same in 2024. The older divisions 13 to 18yrs old did some local traveling to opponents at there parks.

When does the season Start/Finish?

The season starts in Late March with player evaluations and the player draft. Practices will start after the coaches draft a team. The playing season usually start late April/Early May weather permitting.

Season Ends Early to Mid July.

Parents/Coaches will need to accept the Zero Tolerance Code of Conduct Agreement in order to register their child.

Are Uniforms provided or are they purchased separately?

Players will receive a Cap, Jersey, Knicker Pants, Belt and Socks

Coaches get to keep up to 6 returning players and draft the other 6 players. Provided they carry 12 players per team. This will be determined by registration number per division. We will have a player evaluation and draft before any practices start.

 Due to the players lack of commitment at the older levels Triple A and up, coaches will bring full teams only.

We have a Bring it. Swing it. policy for ages 4 to 12 years old. 

Ages 13-18 will use Wood or BBCOR stamped bats.   

Each family is required to participate in the MBSA “Parent Double Play Raffle” fundraiser. As part of the registration fee each player will receive $50 worth of raffle tickets. As this cost has been included in the base registration fee per player, the tickets may be sold and the proceeds handled at the family's discretion. Families keep the first $50 of raffle ticket they sell. The raffle prizes will be awarded in May. There will be additional fundraising available for families upon request. What costs beyond registration fees should be expected?

Players will have to provide their own glove, bat, bag, cleats and helmet.

No other cost beyond registration fee. Unless you would like to buy spirit wear. Spirit wear is on sale regularly during the year. Please see concession stand
